Two frontliners of a highly successful British pop group, renowned for their numerous international music awards, are preparing for a comeback.

The Wanted 2.0, a new iteration of the original music group The Wanted, is set to begin their first-ever UK tour ‘(We’re) Glad You Came’ this October.

Known for their upbeat electro-pop sound that has turned nightclub crowds upside ‌down all around the globe, Brighton audiences should prepare for the next chapter of the dynamic duo comprising Max George and Siva Kaneswaran.  

Drawing on the work that brought them to fame, the successor band will perform their 2010s hits, including the chart-topping “Glad You Came”, the euphoric “Chasing the Sun”, and the string-led “All Time Low”.

Taking place at the legendary music venue Concorde 2 on 8 October in Brighton, their setlist will also include other fan-favourite tracks from their back catalogue.  

Adding depth to their performances is emerging UK-based independent singer-songwriter REIGNS, known for her emotional songwriting and raspy blues/pop vocals.

After their highly anticipated final reunion in 2022, life took an unexpected turn for the members of The Wanted.

Battling an advanced form of brain tumour, Tom Parker passed away two weeks after taking to the stage for his final performance in Liverpool.  

In his final Instagram post, shared two days before his passing, he posted a heartwarming photo of all the members gathered together on stage with the caption “Dream Team ❤️”.

Parker’s wife, Kelsey Parker, has recently faced online trolling urging her to move on and “stop living in the past.” The criticism followed her reflections on how certain moments in life evoke nostalgia, and her reminder that grief is “no straight line.”  

For Kelsey, personal tragedy has become something deeper than pain. “Tom wasn’t my ex-husband,” she shared on her Instagram story in response to a private message. “He was my husband, and he died. There is a huge difference. Loving someone who has died doesn’t stop because you’re in a new relationship. Grief isn’t something you ‘move on’ from or switch off. You learn to carry it alongside the life you continue to build.”  

Kelsey is now in a relationship with Will Lindsay, her partner since 2024. The mother of two is preparing to give birth to her third child.

Nathan Sykes continues to pursue stardom and is currently branching into acting. Taking a break from his solo music career, he will join the cast of Hadestown at London’s Lyric Theatre to play Orpheus this month.  

Married since last year after becoming engaged in 2022, Nathan publicly shared his diagnosis of autism, explaining his struggles with relating emotionally to others and understanding social cues — symptoms commonly associated with autism.

Jay McGuiness has developed a passion for cooking, an interest that led him to compete on MasterChef, known for its demanding standards. However, his cheesecakes and mushroom pies did not appear to meet the expectations of new judge Giorgio Locatelli, an Italian Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur.  

After being eliminated from the competition a couple of weeks ago, MasterChef fans expressed disappointment with the judges’ decision. While leaving the contest of five mini-chefs reminded Jay of the unpleasant moments he experienced during his music career, the retired frontman continues to pursue his writing career. His latest young adult fantasy novel, Blood Flowers, is receiving positive reviews.
